This is was a new event organised by the Mazda Rotary Club so I figured it had to be worth checking it out, especially as it was open to any Japanese car, no just Mazdas. There certainly were some nice cars on display, both rotary and piston powered, as well as some seriously fast machinery storming the quarter mile. For me the trip was worthwhile just for the chance to see an original Cosmo in the flesh for the first time. What an awesome car. I loved the green NSU Ro80 too… a very rare sight these days.
